Common conditions - Addressing common issues and setting up management protocols to support and enhance function. Conditions that will be discussed; Scoliosesis, Lumbar discomfort, Disc herniation, Hip issues, Shoulderand neck dysfunction. Within the segment we will also learn sequences that will rehabilitate and support these commons issue.
Koshas - We will be discovering certain aspects of yoga anatomy through the koshas how it relatesto our yoga practice on multi layered way. We will also start to apply these principles in therapeutic ways to assess and support our clients.
Principles of practice design - This module we will learn the art of designing a practice that is functional, supportive and developmental. Designing practices will take into consideration numerous principles that are based on bio-mechanical relationships as well as organic movement patterns.
Assessment - We will continue with the assessment procedures by exploring breathing and energetic assessments. We will link our observations to kosha and vayu models to assist in supporting the psychology of practice.
Common conditions - A look at common issues that are encountered within a class situation and how we can support our students by understanding the history and behaviour of certain conditions. We will learn right practice and language to encourage students to become more informed and knowledgable about their situation.

Continue with Rehabilitation exercises - We are continuing the learning of exercises that rehabilitate and restore function on all levels.
Vayus - Appreciating that the body is made up of several layers from physical to mental and energetic. In this section we will investigate in greater detail that different energetic values that reside within the body and how to develop appropriate practices that support and balance our energetic tendencies.
Breathing - Pranayama - In this section we will learn the variety of different practices of breathing from a western and eastern prospective. We will also delve into psychophysical effect of breathing and how it is the mahamudra of all practice.
Practice design for therapeutic classes - We will learn how to appropriately construct classes that are themed around therapeutic issues. Understanding to sequence in a safe manner and learn the science of body movement we will become much more efficient in our teaching and delivery of information.
Fundamental touch - Gain greater experience and understanding of the body by learning hands on techniques that encourage a better appreciation of the our multidimensional body and manual tools that restore fascial balance and body movement function.
